Que lo que, mi gente,
I don’t know who needs to hear this today, pero déjame decirte:
You’re doing better than you think.
Sometimes we get so caught up in the pursuit of a big goal that we forget how powerful small wins really are and their role in setting us up for greater wins. We dismiss that moment we rested instead of overextending despite the fact that it helps us approach our goals with vigor, and clarity. We ignore how we set a boundary and stuck to it and how that displays our bravery in full effect. We forget that getting out of bed on a hard day counts.
Our culture glorifies extremes—grind culture, 5 a.m. productivity, all-or-nothing thinking. But the truth is, it’s the micro-movements that build momentum.
It’s the consistent, quiet choices that move us forward.
That’s why this week, I want to center small wins.
Because they’re not small at all.

I’ve seen this in my clients—time and time again.
One client waited years to launch her side hustle, telling herself she had to get “good enough” first. Not ready enough, not certified enough, not perfect enough. And when she finally took the smallest step—filing the name, telling someone she trusted—doors opened. Not because she had all the answers, but because she finally gave herself permission to begin.
Or another who’s been killing it in his business—booked out, highly referred, thriving. But every time he nears expansion, the doubt creeps in: “Do I really deserve this? Can I do this?” He questions his worth even while the evidence of his gifts are stacked like receipts.
This is what I see in our community all the time.
Despite our histories of persistence, resilience, brilliance—we doubt.
I get it.
At every turn, we’re told that as women, as queer folx, as people of color, as first gens, as poor, as language learners, as differently abled—we’re not enough.
That we don’t deserve. That we can’t. That we shouldn’t even try.
Then we look around and see others moving confidently.
Fine being just enough.
Still cashing in.
Still showing up.
Still thriving.
Meanwhile, we sit and wonder: Why not me?
The answer is this:
It’s not about waiting until you arrive.
It’s about trusting that each small step—every pause, every choice, every “yes” to yourself—is part of the climb.
Success is less about doing it all, and more about returning to what aligns.
And truthfully? It took me a long time to believe that. For years, I thought success had to be dramatic. Loud. Boisterous. Pero no.
It can be quiet. Steady. Rooted.
This week, I want you to look at your day differently.
Not through the lens of what you didn’t do, but through the beauty of what you did.
Not just the outcomes, but the intentions. The quiet wins. The things no one else sees.
Let’s Reflect:
- What’s a small win you had this week that deserves more credit? How do you intend to honor and clap for yourself?
- How do you speak to yourself when you finish something small but important? How do you describe your successes to others?
- Where are you under-celebrating your own growth?
🌀 Challenge of the Week:
Drop a win in the comments.
Let’s build a thread that honors progress without perfection.
You’re showing up. And that matters.
