You’ve Been Planting All Month—Now Let Yourself Bloom

by Ana Vargas

KLK, gente!

If you have been here this month, you know we have been redefining success, trusting progress over perfection and choosing ease instead of glorifying burnout.

As we head towards the end of May, we’re at the moment when we are making intentional progress towards redefining what lies ahead. The in-between space where the seeds we’ve planted start to show signs of life like tiny green shoots pushing through the soil, reaching for light.

If you experience long dark seasons the way I do, you likely find yourself thinking: Winter is hard! But, I don’t just mean the weather. It’s our inner season, too. The slow, heavy, cold stretch of time that asks us to wait, to hibernate, to gather ourselves. This can bring bring feelings of unease, uncertainty, and discomfort.

Where I live, winter is long, dark, and rough—my Caribbean soul feels it deep in my bones. But then… the skies start lightening. The birds start singing. And one day, the sun hits your face just right, and you smile without thinking.

This is blooming.
The moment I just described? This is how we are closing out this month.

I don’t know about you, but nothing compares to that first day I can roll the windows down, let the breeze in, and feel the sun kiss my skin. It’s a reminder that life keeps cycling—and we’re allowed to rejoice when the warmth returns.

So here’s your message today:
You don’t have to earn rest. You just have to make space to receive it.
You’ve been showing up. You’ve been planting. Now let yourself bloom.

Don’t rush it. Don’t overthink it. Let the light in. Let the work you’ve done meet you with grace.

A Reflection for You:

  • What’s blossoming inside of you right now?
  • How will you make space to enjoy what’s been growing?
  • Can you rest without needing a reason?

Coach’s Note:

I did a bit of pausing last weekend and I hope you found yourself on a patio, with a beverage of choice in hand, listening to birdsong. As you look ahead at June:
How and where else will you make space to pause?

Let your heart bloom with the season. You deserve to feel the warmth you’ve been working toward.

Con cariño,
Ana
